PROJECT “TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE”

The objective of the procedure of Component II under the project “Training and employment for young people” is integrating of inactive and unemployed young people with permanent disabilities up to 29 years of age, registered at the Labor Offices of the National Employment Agency, employed by an employer in real business or in local government via training tailored to individual workplace needs, employment subsidies and a one-time incentive to ensure sustainable employment.

PROJECT “TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT

The objective of the procedure of Component II under the “Training and Employment” project is the integration of inactive and unemployed persons with permanent disabilities aged over 29 (who are 30 years of age and over) registered at the Labor Offices of the National Employment Agency, in employment with an employer in real business or in local government through training tailored to individual workplace needs, employment subsidies and a one-time incentive to ensure sustainable employment.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

Inactive and unemployed people with permanent disabilities aged over 29 (who are 30 years of age and over) registered at the Labor Offices of the National Employment Agency.

ELIGIBLE EMPLOYERS FOR THE TWO PROJECTS

Companies in the real sector, local-level government institutions, non-profit legal entities, carrying out business activities (ensuring employment by NGOs should be only in connection with the realization of the economic activity).

The employer assesses the need to include the unemployed candidates in training to acquire professional qualifications and/or key competences – foreign language or digital competence. The employer signs an employment contract with the National Employment Agency to provide employment to the approved candidates, for a period up to 24 months.

During the training, if any, the unemployed receive BGN 10 for each attendance day (at least 6 school hours and a maximum of 8) if the trainings are held in the place of residence and BGN 15 – if it is in another place.

The projects cover all costs for salaries and additional benefits, according to the minimum income for the respective economic activity, as well as the social securities payable by the employer for the subsidized period.

The program also covers the cost of tutor, if the employer determines such.

SUBSIDIZED PERIOD: up to 24 months.

If, after that period, the employer retains the appointed person for six months but at his/her own cost, he/she will receive a one-time incentive – six minimum wages, provided that the person has been occupied at least 75% of the working days for the period.

DEADLINE: Employers’ applications will be considered in the order of submission, until all available budget has been spent.
